Kelea Surf Spa began in Hawaii as the world's first "surf spa" and has expanded to Kelea Costa Rica - a new surfing retreat. see Costa Rica. The "Surf Spa" for women only is a new concept and fuses learning how to surf with relaxation and adventure.
We at Kelea believe that vacations should be more than lounging by the pool. They are also a time for the rejuvenation of the mind and body.
Kelea was formed by Elenice Senn and Stephanie Tufts, two women who love the sport of surfing and being active outdoors. Why a surf spa? While a good massage relaxes the body surfing clarifies your thoughts and replenishes your inner being. Surfing directly connects you with nature and provides you with a great workout.
Packages for both locations include accommodation for 6 nights, 3 healthy gourmet meals daily, surfing lessons and equipment, yoga classes, massage and hiking. This one-week program is suitable for beginner and intermediate surfers
Kelea Surf Spa Hawaii is located on the north shore of Oahu. Kelea guests stay in a beachside bed-and-breakfast style home. The Hawaii package also includes a walking tour of famous north shore surf spots. The program runs from February to April. The maximum capacity is eight guests.
